Champagne Tuesdays is managed and run by Chris Hambleton.  Chris is a knowledgeable and experienced presenter having worked extensively in the wine trade for a number of years.   Chris holds the WSET® Diploma in Wines and Spirits qualification and is an accredited WSET® tutor.

The name for the site comes from Chris’ obsessive use of ‘tuesday nights’ as an example of when to drink decent plonk during his presentations. Chris has written regular articles for local press and has recently writtenhis first book, to be published later this year. he has also appeared on radio.

Ian Roadnight is one of the senior members of the team at Champagne Tuesdays with almost nine years of wine trade experience and an in-depth knowledge of the wines of Burgundy, the USA and Itlay. Ian, like Chris is a WSET advanced level tutor.

Mikhail  Lumanov is our resident chef and a WSET Intermediate level tutor. Mikhail has travelled the worlds’ vineyards and brings a wealth of anecdotal stories to our events
